Stocking the important items for TSHTF

Anyone stocking up on stuff like this?

http://www.candywarehouse.com/babygummybears.html

Maybe 10lb of of gummy bears isn't the healthiest thing but it might fit in with your other big supplies of food heh. I hear they have a pretty good shelf life too.

If they stop having food and stuff at the store, they won't have candy thats for sure.

Problem with chocolate is it goes bad after 6 months. Actually it lasts a lot longer but it turns different colors and stuff. I think its safe to eat though. I am not sure about the taste however.

Well there you go then. I bet you could get a lot trading chocolate and stuff, especially in the US where a lot of people are like addictive to the stuff heh.

Or you could save it for yourself. I guess the real problem is knowing its in your house and not eating it heh. I don't eat much candy but thats only because I avoid buying it, since I know I will eat it if its at home.

I much prefer milk chocolate, as dark chocolate tastes like it's "bad" even when it fresh, at least to me. Almost like "plastic"........ yuck! :thumbs do

...........maybe they should call it "dark chaukolate" as it's also a bit "chauk" like to my tongue also........

After reading this tread I decide to check on my chocolate stash......sorry I did it.......I wont even say what I found but it was BADDDDDD.

I'll have to replace everything tomorrow and use my vacuum machine and then put it in my freezer, let's see what happens.

Ponce---You always have stuff that is bad. I think maybe you've been ready for too long. Get on some kind of rotation. If you don't use it, maybe you could donate it a month or so before expiration.:coolbeer:
